An important component in our production chain is our induction hardening system. Components with a diameter of up to 500 millimetres and lengths of over six metres can be hardened here to a depth of up to 10 millimetres. This system has been running daily for many years and its components had become somewhat outdated and spare parts were difficult to obtain.

After several minor modernisations, such as the control system, the heart of the system – the inverter – is now being replaced with a new, powerful and energy-efficient inverter. This has its own digital control system, which allows connection to current bus systems, control systems and other components. The remote maintenance options via the Internet and the actual value memory with integrated line recorder are further advantages of the new acquisition.

The modernised hardening system now fits seamlessly back into the production process, helping to fulfil customer requirements and improve time processes.
