BüMi’s summer party was once again a special highlight for all our employees – this time we headed to the Motodrom Hagen for some kart racing action.

The event was held in two groups, each with its own qualifying session and race. There was plenty of fun along the way – including the occasional bump, late braking maneuver, and spin. Lots of action on the track provided plenty of laughter in the grandstands.

After determining the five fastest drivers from each group, the final race took place. Christian Lenz (aka the Michael Schumacher of BüMi) lived up to his nickname and continued his winning streak in style. The official race concluded with an award ceremony followed by a buffet.

The weather didn’t fully cooperate later in the evening, but even light rain didn’t stop a few additional “just for fun” laps in the karts. The two-seater kart even made an appearance. A huge amount of fun for both drivers and spectators – especially since everyone was still racing on slick tires.

As night fell, the evening continued in a relaxed atmosphere with pleasant conversations and a few cold drinks.
